Crossing the Border

Met up with the rest of the group today and boarded our bus. Went down a road full of hair pin bends along the Jordan Valley. Went past a marker stating it was sea level and kept going down and down. This part of Jordan is the food basket of the nation and there were acres of covered greenhouses growing lots of plants. Very poor area. Crossed the border - what a rigmarole! Now in Israel! What a difference - looks like the rain stops falling on the border! Drove up to Sea of Galilee where we will be staying for next few days.Leggi altro
