Day 281: Terracotta Army Museum

It was the highlight during our stay in Xi’an as it was the first time for Cammy to visit the Terracotta Warriors. We went there first thing in the morning to beat the tourist crowd there. It was successful for the first hour.

The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210-209 BC with the purpose of protecting him in his afterlife.Baca lagi
