    The Emperor Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum Site Park, covering an area of 2.26 square kilometers, is located in Lintong district, Xi' an city Shaanxi province. It’s one of
    many components within the Emperor
    Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, which also include the Emperor Qin
    Shihuang's Terracotta Army Museum situated about 1.5 kilometers east
    of mausoleum. The site park is closed to the core region of Emperor Qin
    Shihuang's Mausoleum, once called in ancient time as li shan yuan . The
    core region refers to the area with a boundary 20 meters out of the outer
    city wall (a length of 2220 meters from south to north, a width of 1010
    meters from east to west). The Emperor Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum Site
    Park is to preserve a large number of archaeological sites, and to display
    rich cultural remains recovered from satellite pits. The establishment of
    this site-park, which opened on Oct. 1, 2010, signifies the unique function
    of preservations and exhibits for mega-archaeological sites under
    administration of a multi-levelled scale museum system-the Emperor Qin
    Shihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum.
