    Day 16: Sanxingdui Museum

    We took a 1.5 hours direct bus from
    Chengdu to Guanghan city to visit Sanxingdui Museum.

    Sanxingdui is an archaeological site and a major Bronze Age culture in modern Guanghan, Sichuan, China. Many Chinese archaeologists have identified the Sanxingdui culture to be part of the ancient kingdom of Shu, linking the artifacts found at the site to its early and legendary kings. A lot of the artifacts are large bronze heads with protruding eyes that that some believe to be a depiction of Cancong, the semi-legendary first king of Shu.Read more
