Day 77: Shuri Castle

Shuri Castle, probably the must-visit place in Naha Okinawa. It was the royal residence for the king and his family, and at the same time, it functioned as the Shuri Royal Government, a governing institution of the kingdom. The Castle was left in ruins after the Battle of Okinawa in 1945 and was restored after 1992. It was restored, once again, after the severe fire in 2019.
