    This is an park/campground that is owned by the City. It is over 270 acres of woolands, bridle trails, hiking paths and a freshwater lake with a water park that is open in the summer. It offers full hookups including cable and has pool and wifi in the clubhouse. It is a very family oriented park and seems very easy going. The park is large with over 240 campsites. Some only for tents. It is right by the Miami Zoo. There are restrooms with hot showers and a laundry as well. The restrooms were not the best but they were not horrible either. This used to be a Mango orchard and it shows with hundreds of Mango trees. All the sites are different. Some are shaded. Some are not. We got a site under the Mango tree but since it is March, the fruit is not ripe. We plan on coming back again in July. We stayed on Pod 4 campsite 11Read more
