Quarry Trekking

Back tracking a little as I've not had a moment to collect scribble my thoughts for ages! Given my usual last minute booking classic Inca Trail permits were sold out for the next 8 months so I elected to take the alternative route. Another Inca Trail our route took us up high, with beautiful views in all directions every time you took another step. Up, up, up and up we went. But perhaps the highlight of the first day was when we were surprised with hot chocolate, popcorn and dairy milk once we reached our 3,900m campsite.
