Trek

That same afternoon (sorry too many gorgeous photo opportunities for one post!) we elected to walk even higher to summit at 4,850. And the views were truly spectacular. No other word. It was so peaceful up there without a mother person in sight and nothing to hear bar our voices, the birds and the winds. Oh and after we managed to survive the super steep scramble down we walked along to a lovely Inca temple, celebrating Mount Verónica. This mountain was so named because no one could reach the summit (despite a great many attempts) Finally a German woman named Verónica showed up and sumitted no bother, embarrassing all the men.
