Day 17 - New Albany Festival.

For some reason this never posted. It. Was a fun gig although we started super late which was annoying. The bands before us and some weird dance crew went late.

The best part of the day was meeting and hanging out with Marty Dodson. We discussed the floater, random drum stuff, and he even gave me a pair of the sticks he uses ( Danny Carey from Tool!). We even got ice cream with the Nikki Hill Band. We got Blue Moon which was described as the flavor of milk from Fruity Pebbles. Pretty true honestly.

At the end of the night I talked to Liz in the hotel lobby and I saw literally everyone who played come through Nick Moss even grabbed the phone and talked to her (pretty sure he thought it was my mom). All in all great day. Until I had to wake up at 5am to get home.Read more
