Onboard the MS Richard With

Today we boarded the ship and much to our surprise, it was much nicer than we thought it would be. As nice as a cruise ship. We were seated with another couple for dinner and we were planning on dining alone. But, Alice and Andy are from Ireland and England, respectively, and we closed the dining room down, sharing stories and laughing. So, we will enjoy making new friends over the next few days. The stops are short, but on one stop, the crew took us to a fortress and we learned more about the war from Norway’s perspective. I love learning all this history and gaining perspective from a new part of the globe.Read more
