    March 15 in New Zealand ⋅ ☁️ 17 °C

New Zealand was an excellent destination for travel. I heard the expression “New Zealand, the way it used to be!” That seems accurate. The highways are mostly two lanes, one in each direction. The bridges in the country are mostly one lane. You yield to traffic on the bridge. The roads invariably go right through the centre of town, never around it. People are friendly and accommodating. I do not find it surprising that I get along with Kiwis when I meet them in my travels to other parts of the world. We have a lot in common.

In New Zealand we covered almost 3480 km.on the bus! Yikes, no wonder we feel tired! That is a lot of time on a bus…..however to see what we did it was better than driving ourselves!

Here are a few catchy words/phrases we learned.

Sweet as ( I love this one)
    Chur - Thanks or Cool
    Jandles- flips
    Choka - full, really busy
Ya Na - Polite agreement, but basically disagree
    Sprog - ankle-biters
