We got up early to get a 9:20 flight to Budapest. We checked in yesterday and took the only two seats left on BA864. Dianne and I were not seated together, but it is only a couple of hours… she should be fine. My seat is a middle seat about middle of the A319. Dianne has been upgraded to business class, go figure.
The four of us Uber to our hotel on the Pest side of the Danube river. Things happened so fast this morning, and we can’t remember if we packed all our stuff so there is some anxiety before we get to the hotel. Turns out we have all our stuff. We suffer from poor memory more than poor packing.
We take to the streets to do some shopping. A hat for Tom and sunglasses. The streets are busy with people as it is Saturday.
In the evening we went for a stroll along the boardwalk. It was full of life, music, food, dancing and oh so many people.Read more
