Afternoon hike

The afternoon activity is a hike to the fortress you see in the first picture. It is a hot day, (32 degrees) and our guide likes to stop often to give us the history of the area.

This was the slow walk hike. The 200 stairs to the top of the fortress were punctuated with three rests so the guide could keep talking.

The pictures speak for themselves! We “hiked” for 2 1/2 hours and we learned some more Serbian history and family stories.
It was a good day!
