    Saint Sava is one of the largest orthodox churches in the world. I would suggest it is also one of the newest as the interior of the cathedral was finished in the last five years.

    Some monks from the Greek Orthodox Church have lent a piece of clothing they have. It belonged to the Virgin Mary and the Serbian Orthodox Church is using the piece to bring people to the church. As a result, this spot is much more popular than usual, with lineups outside extending to many hours. Our tour group had to fight the multitude to get in, and it seemed we didn’t make a lot of friends in the process. But as the pictures show, we did get in. We snuck in the back door.Read more
