    Some great, calm, days

I have a Rolling Stones song stuck in my head the last few days: You Can't Always Get What You Want. It's the chorus, "you just might find, you get what you need" . That's what my last few days have felt like. Peaceful, productive.

Much of my projects are Christmas and gift related. And I'm doing a bit of very satisfying deep cleaning.

Around that, we found a great new chicken wing place, completed an annoying puzzle, and have been trouble shooting an annoying regular beep emitting from our alarm system. The company says it's not them and we can't isolate it as being anything else. A relaxing massage one day at anew place in Abbotsford helped deal with that stress.

Brad has begun a regular workout program and is a bit unwilling to interrupt his fledgling routine. Plus, poker is sacred. So this week we've been home more. Which has also given me more down time for the search for that elusive unicorn, an affordable hotel in Paris that is convenient, safe & in a preferred location! I thrive on this kind of search though.

That has worked out well, as I was contacted by a past customer from my lotion making enterprise with a special request and a big order. That was unexpected, and fortunately I had the time. He was extremely complimentary, and it was so rewarding to compound again. I have not done much of that recently.

Next several days we have some more local events and experiences we are looking forward to. And I can fully enjoy, knowing how many items I've been able to cross off the never ending to do list!
