Portland, Oregon

Flew into Portland last night and had a quick visit with Robert and Britany-got a quick glimpse of Blake before she went to bed. Woke up to a rental car that wouldn't start but with the assistance of one of the hotel assistants we were able to drive over to Robert's house. Took a little time for Blake to warm up to us but a trip to the playground helps. A delicious lunch at Bollywood and dessert at Salt and Straw! Then we had a 3 hour drive to Bend. Gorgeous scenery driving from tall forests, around Mt. Hood, to the drier, warm flat area near the Cascade Mountains. Met up with our friends and enjoyed dinner in Bend by the Deschutes River.Read more
