Raiva, Portugal

Left Vila Real and rode 26 miles up and down the mountains alongside the Douro River. We finally have some sunny, warmish weather. The views were magnificent! Lots of cherries trees loaded with fruit. Orange and lemon trees. Nice lunch by the side of the river- tasty Portugal meat sauce and spaghetti! Afternoon was 18 miles to a dock on the river where we boarded a pontoon boat and motored up (or down not sure) the river to our hotel seemingly carved into the mountainside. Very spacious room with beautiful balcony surrounded by blooming jasmine. Dinner at a Michelin restaurant which was fine but we agreed the roasted chicken at the farmhouse was better. One more full riding day and then the trip is completeBaca lagi
