Road Trip

We were in the fence after Hurricane Helene took her trip up the East Coast. Well, I was. But Catherine had faith that we would be just fine. And we were. Grabbing a King Cake for Sharon & “The Sisters” we set out at noon. Entering the hardest hit area that we had to drive through, it was dark, so all we really saw were the downed trees close to the travel lanes, several damaged cars along the highway and some eerily dark areas.
