    51 miles with 400 ft assent on the Cowboy Trail from O'Neill to Bassett today. Increasing views of prarie and less crops. The trail was rough in spots and we had to dodge many badger holes and thousands of grasshoppers.
    We camped at Rock County Fairgrounds in Bassett. The evening was the Rodeo. Kids riding sheep. Horse barrel races and Bull riding. My first Rodeo.    Read more
