A nice day at the Beach... almost.

After a nice breakfast, I left my Hotel in Sokcho and took an Intercity Bus to the City of Gangneung, which was a little further south. Gangneung is famous for beach and coffee culture, in Summer, the beaches are full with people coming from everywhere to enjoy some quality beach time. While it was pretty warm still, it was raining all day, just as the weather forecast foretold. Not an issue though since I have a competent umbrella now. The only agenda today was a quick trip to Gangneung Coffee Street at Anmok Beach, there I had a nice iced vanilla Latte. Then I was strolling down the boardwalk of the beach for a little bit and humming in the rain before heading back to my guest house. I will spend the rest of the day relaxing and planning ahead for tomorrow and the next days.
