    Lord Howe Island

    24 de noviembre de 2018, Australia ⋅ 🌧 19 °C

The morning started off stormy and our fishing trip was cancelled due to the rough weather, 3-4 metre swell offshore, had a slow start then went out with the umbrella and watched the supply boat being unloaded. This ship comes over from Port Macquarie about every two weeks and brings a vast assortment of thing that the islanders need /want / wish for. The weather cleared enough to go walking so we did some forest walking and then headed done to Neds Beach. This area was quite popular today as it was out of the wind. This is the beach where the fish are fed and there are stacks of them in the water! There was also a big Tern rookery in the sand dunes behind the beach. Spent a bit of time on the beach in the afternoon then back for happy hour.Leer más
