Opotiki

Today we woke up to grey skies again and drizzle. We took a small detour to a place we used to stay at with the kids. These units still look the same after all these years but the flying fox has gone. Movrd on to Opotiki NZMCA park. Rain off and on all day so once again sitting in the camper and not doing much. The next morning we back tracked to Whakatane to do some shopping. Back at Opotiki for some laundry and then we had happy hour with 2 other couples. By this time the sun had come out. This progressed to a drink at the club and then to a pub for dinner. A very enjoyable evening. We found some ants in the hatch so had a clean out of hatch. Hopefully we won't get anymore.Read more
