Well after our sad goodbyes we set off for Brugge in Belgium. We arrived in about 3 1/2 hours weather really nice no rain and about 20 degrees. We got into our accommodation for the night and then went for a local wander. Just beautiful!Read more

Arrived in 🇳🇱 Holland for the next 3 nights. Looks like lots of exploring to do here. We came in via Kinderdijk a lovely little town with lots of windmills and a little museum. Thanks Rene for the recommendation well worth the stop.Read more

TravelerLove the windmills. Rosalinda was telling me yesterday that they are now heritage protected. Her family one was bull-dozed back in the eighties - which of course they now regret.

Exploring Holland

Today we went to a few local towns near our accommodation. First of all to Amersfoorte an old town with in a town a nice little place and very busy. We had a coffe and got some local cakes from the market. Then to Spakenburg which was recommended by our host. The old boats here were amazing and we had some local fish and chips for lunch, just lovely. Then back to Woudenberg to get some groceries for dinner before heading back to the house.

Exploring Singapore

Well never having stayed in Singapore before there is quite a lot to see.
It is over 30 degrees and none of us have slept for the past 14 hours but sleep is not on the agenda until at least 8.30pm so off we go.
First stop the underground to get to the gardens by the sea with the flower and cloud domes. They are amazing with so many plants. It was a busy day with lots of walking we ended up at Little India for dinner and retired at 8.30pm.

Last day today so we decided to go to the top of the tall building with a boat looking thing on top. We went up to the viewing deck and took some pictures overlooking the town. Very scary for me but the others really enjoyed it. We are just waiting to go to the airport in the next couple of hours.Read more
