Koh Tao III - Aussicht auf Koh Tao

Leider habe ich seit meines Nachttauchgangs vor 3 Tagen ein blockiertes linkes Ohr, sodass ich mich heute im eher überschaulichen "Krankenhaus" von Koh Tao untersuchen lassen habe. Leider habe ich eine akute Mittelohrentzündung, sodass für mich das Tauchen in den nächsten Tagen flach fällt. Die verschriebene Behandlung umfasst zwei verschiedenen Antibiotika, Fenafex, kein Wasserkontakt mit den Ohren für 3 Tage und "Ruhe" für 10 Tage. Das hat mich sehr traurig gemacht, da ich schon voller Feuer und Flamme war, die beste Taucherinsel Thailands weiterhin zu betauchen, vor allem mit dem Advanced Open Water Certificate. Die meiste Zeit habe ich heute im Bett verbracht, aber nachmittags habe ich noch einen Spaziergang zu einer schönen Aussicht auf Koh Tao gemacht - den hätte ich ohne Mittelohrentzündung vielleicht nicht gemacht? Sagen wir es so: Vielleicht hat die Mittelohrentzündung auch etwas Gutes an sich, nämlich die Insel aus einer ruhigeren Perspektive zu betrachten und sich mehr Zeit für introspektive Gedanken zu nehmen?
Diese letzten Bilder von Koh Tao möchte ich gern noch mit euch teilen, bevor ich morgen auf die größere Nachbarinsel Koh Samui fahre.

Unfortunately, I have a blocked left ear since the night dive 3 days ago, so I had myself examined today in the rather small "hospital" of Koh Tao. I have an acute infection of my ear so that diving is not possible for me in the next few days. The prescribed treatment includes two different antibiotics, Fenafex, no water contact with the ears for 3 days and "rest" for 10 days. I felt very sad about that result as I was already very enthusiastic about more diving events on Thailand's best diving island, especially with the Advanced Open Water Certificate. Today, I spent most of my time in bed but in the afternoon I took a walk to a beautiful view on Koh Tao - I might not have done that if I hadn't had otitis media? Let's put it this way: maybe there is something good about the middle ear infection, looking at the island from a calmer perspective and taking more time for introspective thoughts?
