Goodbye Ito

Heute verabschiede ich mich von meinem zu Hause der letzten vier Wochen, Ito. Vier Wochen sind nicht viel, trotzdem ist mir dieses kleine Städtchen an der Küste sehr ans Herz gewachsen. Ich werde das tolle Ryokan und meine Kolleg:innen vermissen. Ich werde es vermissen, zu wissen, wo alles ist: Bahnhof, Supermarkt, Arkaden, leckeres Essen. Vor mir liegen ein paar Tage in Hiroshima gefolgt von einigen Wochen im Süden Japans, unweit der tollen Natur, die Maike gerade erkundet. In diesem Eintrag werde ich ein paar Fotos sammeln, die meinen Alltag der letzten Wochen gut zusammenfassen.

Today, I bid farewell to my home for the past four weeks, Ito. Four weeks may not be much, but this small coastal town has truly grown close to my heart. I will miss the wonderful ryokan and my colleagues. I will miss knowing where everything is: the train station, the supermarket, the arcades, and the delicious food. Ahead of me are a few days in Hiroshima, followed by several weeks in the southern parts of Japan, not far from the beautiful nature that Maike is currently exploring.
