Malmo Family Time

The last few days has been relaxed but also busy. We all have been doing odd jobs around the house for Emily and Fredrik - gardening, lighting etc. Check out the photo below with the question……. how many people does it take to install a lamp and what is the emergency number in Sweden (112 in case you were wondering)

A visit to IKEA was mandatory. We picked up a couple of items that will fit in our bags for home. Then a mall stop of course just in case there were other opportunities.

Fredrik, Emily, Lee, Olive, Alfie, Augustin and Nora all arrived back from a summer house holiday together so us oldies moved out to a house only 5 minutes stroll away.. We used the cargo bike to transport all our luggage.

Bikes are king here too. So many exclusive cycleways, all motorists give way when the roads and cycleways meet. I have noticed the lack of any aggressive driving. All very relaxed and courteous. The majority of vehicles are electric. Even the buses are quiet.

Our Danish friends visited yesterday for a restaurant lunch. Linē, Jesper, Silje, and Emile all came back to the house afterwards. Was very noisy and full of chatter and so nice to connect them with Emily and Fredrik.Read more
