I think I saw Rip!

Today we had no plans. We got up and it was freezing. Like wth, put on a sweatshirt and get a blanket. We made hot coffee and just enjoyed the morning.

I took a shower in the bathhouse which must have been heated by a geiser. That was some hot ass water.

We drove past the Dutton Ranch going to Hamilton and it did not appear any filming was happening.

We had to get some screws to fix our bathroom door which broke during one of our crazy drives. So far our a/c fan has broken, the ice machine stopped making ice, redd fell against the door and it doesn't close as tight as I'd like, we broke off the step nose of our entry way, the slide lost a piece of the wall panel when we opened the slide w/a basket in the way and our awning flipped over the roof. It's been a rough trip lol. None of these things are earth shattering, except the broken a/c fan. We actually got a mobile rv mechanic to come fix it because we knew the weather was going to get very hot here and then of course, it's hot in LA. Works great now.

We had lunch in Hamilton which was mediocre. I'm pretty tired of rude wait staff and meh food and high prices. We drove a forest road towards a fire tower but it was VERY steep and I don't pay for Gaia anymore so I didn't know how far it was. We came back to the highway, and when we passed in front of the Dutton Ranch, there was a guy dressed all in black holding a saddle walking to the house w/the camera behind him. I'm pos it was Rip!

Came on back to the bus and it was so damn hot. We put our chairs in the river and sat there until the sun went behind the mountains and it cooled off.

Dinner was dark chocolate hummus and Dr. Pepper margaritas. Do not judge that hummus. It tastes just l Ike chocolate frosting..but "healthy" haha.

Tomorrow Redd will take me to the "train station". Hopefully, I don't end up w/all the dead bodies lol. The place they film those scenes is right up the road from our campsite. We're also supposed to go to the Lost Trail Hotspring. Place looks like a hippie commune but soaks are less than 10/person.

Some old dude camped next to us wants us to go to the Mountain Muster which is some hoe down to raise money for wilderness therapy for vets w/ptsd. While admirable I would not like being w/a bunch of old veterans in Sula, MT 🤣🤣 Old boy at our cg is SUPER pumped about it tho.Read more
