Installed on a very acceptable campsite in time to catch the bus to explore Florence in the afternoon. The Duomo and all around, the Palazzo Vecchio with all its history and the Ponte Vecchio.

It's a good thing it stopped raining as we were able to drive out without getting stuck in the muddy ruts that are artfully excluded from the photo. It was only 7 ° c though.

Back home after three days of driving in the rain and, finally, some very annoying diversions round the bumpy lanes of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. It was worth it- we had a wonderful month.
