Odaito to Cape Kirritapu 89 km

We were woken early in the morning by a fox dragging off some of our things, especially our rubbish bag. It was a nice ride in cool , cloudy skies through beautiful swampy forest areas. We stopped for a quick lunch in Attoko and continued on to a small peninsula beyond Hamanaka. We stopped in Hamanaka for a soak in the onsen and ten continued on to the campground on the end of Cape Kirritapu. It was very cool and cloudy so we booked into a bungalow which was very sparse but warm and comfortable, and had a great view over the sea. Deer roamed around the surrounding fields. We enjoyed a nice Udon hotpot, red wine, chocolate and whisky in our cute little cabin.Read more
