Quiet day at Kiritappu

We opted to stay another night in our little bungalow at Cape Kiritappu and have a semi rest day. We rode an easy 10km to the Kirrtappu Wetlands Center where we wandered along some of the wetlands boardwalks. We then visited the Wetlands Center, were we enjoyed lunch with a view over the wetlands and stayed several hours reading books. We returned through town, dogging reindeer and did some shopping. It is Saturday, so our little campsite was quite busy by the time we returned. Families, couples and singles putting up tents everywhere and sitting outside bbqing on open wood fires. Visited the end of the Cape to see the lighthouse and saw some sea otters floating about on the calm side.Read more
