Maria Island 🦘

Day trip with Anna. I was a bit tired after finishing work very late and waking up so early, but still so excited to visit my wild island and spend some time with Anna. Took a shuttle and a ferry to get there and rented some bikes. Anna obviously, led and was in charge of everything (she is german). We saw wombats, kangaroos, padymelons, kookaburras... The island was so wild and untouched, such a blast. Even though our original plan was to go for two days, we had to cut it in two because the shuttle was fully booked. I did sleep a lot everytime I had the chance to sit down (pretty exhausted), but couldn't have been happier with this short escape.
