• Litchfield National Park

First stop of our roadtrip: Litchfield National Park. With its beautiful grand waterfalls and lovely treks you could mingle around the area for a week. We went for a sundet hike to greenant water hole (yes, there where plenty of green ants on the way), swam in every waterfall we found

📍Essentials: Wangi falls and Florence falls are absolutely stunning, greenant trek, termite mounds
🏠 Accommodation: book in advance one of the campsites of the national park (no connection in the park and closest free campsite is an hour drive away)
🧐 Some facts: if you lick a greenant's ass (yes, the green butt), it tastes like lemon. There's even a gin they make in North Queensland with greenants infused on it because of their citrus taste.
