The Tamiami Trail

Up and on the road early this morning as we have a long way to go. We drive back up the Keys and stop for breakfast just outside Key Largo, Martin tries Grits, they look and taste disgusting.

After leaving Interstate 1 we pick up the Tamiami Trail across The Everglades, a big expense of nothingness.

The road, by American standards is quite and so I decided to have a drive for a few miles until we reached the outskirts of Naples, our destination for today.

We are stopping at The Lime Tree Inn, we have a lovely big room, called Dhalia, with 2 queen sized beds and a kitchenette. Outside there are lovely gardens and wooden seating outside each room and a swimming pool. Martin later takes advantage and has a dip.Читать далее
