Ready to Leave

Our driver was there waiting for us buy the time we were finishing up at the panda center. It was going to be a long ride back to the hotel in Chengdu but the car was comfortable and the driver was friendly. He didn't speak English but he did know a fair amount of Cantonese so Kathy was able to talk him a bit. Since he was nice and reliable, she wanted to hire him to take us back to the airport tomorrow but he said that he's not able to take us. He explained that he's an employee of the tour company, and the car belongs to them, so he wouldn't have any way to drive us to the airport. Kathy was explaining to him what we went through with the hired car when we first arrived in Chengdu but I don't think that he really understood her. After a while, all of the traveling and excitement caught up with us and we fell asleep in the car.もっと詳しく
