Interlude 2

Ray, Chris and the kids finally arrived and Kathy told me that he was very surprised and happy. I'm glad to hear that the party was such a great success.
The choice of food, however, was an entirely different story. Chris picked the restaurant so I'm guessing that she and Ray like Peruvian food. Kathy told me that, as far as everyone else was concerned, it was almost inedible. That's saying a lot because Kathy can eat nearly anything without a complaint. She told me that all she ate was a bit of rice and a few french fries. In fact, she left the restaurant starving and had to stop off somewhere on the way home to get herself more food for her dinner. That's sad. I can't blame her though. I don't think that I'd care for Peruvian food either. I probably wouldn't have even tried the rice. Just french fries for me! I wonder if they tasted like regular American fries. I'm thinking that they were possibly seasoned with some kind of Peruvian spices or have some sort of spicy sauce poured over them.Læs mere
