On the Bus

It's nearly time for us to leave and, once again, everyone is being herded onto a bus. I'm guessing that this means our plane is not here and we're going to have to climb up those steep steps to board the plane. I wonder why the airports here do this. Isn't it easier, and more efficient, for the plane to come right up to the gate? At least the bus we're on now is more modern than what we rode in Beijing when we first arrived in China. I can still remember having to breathe those strong diesel fumes at the Beijing airport.Read more
