Saint Nicholas

Next to the candy store was a shop that sold all sorts​ of traditional German goods. There was a lot of Christmas decorations and even these big hand carved wooden figures depicting how Santa Claus looks throughout Europe, particularly in Germany. This is Saint Nicholas, a real life saint who was, supposedly​ the basis of the Santa Claus legend.
