Some of these cows were so new that they still had traces of what looked like umbilical cords or placentas hanging off of their lower bodies. It didn't look very nice but it's a natural part of life, I suppose. I'm just surprised that the handlers or vets that were taking care of the cows didn't clean that up a bit more.
