• Time for Lunch

    We ate dinner in Chinatown, since Kathy was in the mood for it and wanted to try their version of Chinese food. We picked a restaurant named Wong Kei. The menu looked good and the place looked authentic rather than touristy.
    We made a good choice! The food was on par with both Flushing and Chinatown back home. Even the surly and rude waiters seemed like what we are used to in the New York Chinese restaurants. I don't know why all the waiters in Chinese restaurants are like that but I'm even more puzzled that people are so accepting of it. There's never any excuse for rudeness!
