So Call Me Maybe

As soon as we finished eating, we made a quick stop at the hotel and then we had to get over to Piccadilly Circus to meet our Tours by Foot guide. Her name was Sinead something and, surprisingly, she used to live in Queens, very close to where we are now. She took us on a tour through Piccadilly Circus, Soho and Chinatown. She was very informative and knew so much London history and information. Much of it seemed to be concentrated on British music, especially the Beatles. We have maybe just a passing interest in the Beatles so we just sort of tuned out some of the information she had to impart but we smiled and nodded politely. That's just how we are. The main thing I did not like was that she walked so fast! Kathy and I were almost running to keep up with her! It was a great tour, and we really enjoyed it, but I would have preferred a more leisurely pace.Read more
