Just a short scooter ride along the river bank from the Stellplatze and you find yourself at Porta Nigra, one of four gates to the old Roman city but the only one still in existence. A wander around the square to take in a few more sites and a ride on the tourist train which seems to be the norm on our trips and we left feeling a bit underwhelmed by the place.
