We have found a great little park up in the village of Thornich which is on the banks of the Mosel and only about 30 mins away from Trier. The plan to stay here for a couple of days and have ride along the river on our bikes has gone a bit astray as we have discovered that there is a wine festival in the village at the weekend so we will probably hang around for that.
