Uznach-Schafwegkante - Fluebrig Quarett

Well, if that wasn't a weekend of superlatives! I'm telling you, our adventures this weekend was beautiful with a generous dose of fresh Swiss mountain air and a touch of wrestling glamour!
Friday Evening: Nöldi Forrer – A Will of Steel and, of course, a Photo with Nöldi :)
The starting gun fired on Friday evening, and not just anywhere, but in Uznach, where Kino Rex opened its doors for the film "Nöldi Forrer – Ein Wille aus Titan." Nöldi, the champion, despite a hip operation, won a proud 151 wreaths! That's not only due to his strong will and ambition but also his pure joy in wrestling. Respect! When the film finished, I couldn't believe my eyes: there was actually Nöldi Forrer himself standing in front of us. We seized the opportunity and immediately snapped a fan photo with the living legend. An unforgettable start to the weekend!
Saturday: Schafbergkante – 12 Pitches – Easy but Fun and Breathtaking Views – Pure Adrenaline!
After that star encounter, Saturday seamlessly continued with our personal "Will of Steel" moment: The Schafbergkante called. Twelve pitches, 420 meters of elevation, and a 5c+ rating – it was just so cool. Every handhold and foothold was a small victory that brought us closer to the summit and rewarded us with breathtaking views. It was pure adrenaline, but in a relaxed way – truly "easy but fun fun fun"!
Sunday: We did the Fluebrig Quartett a great ridge hike (grade: T6 difficult Alpine hiking) with 2 peaks: Wändlispitz and Diethelm. Wicher was again our faithful scrambling buddy to Summit Bliss!
We hiked almost 14 kilometers, 1676 meters of elevation, and seven hours of pure ridge hiking and scrambling – and all with our new scrambling buddy Wicher by our side. For this ridge hike you'd better not have a fear of heights.
This weekend was a masterpiece of outdoor action, coupled with a touch of wrestling celebrity. All I can say is: great weekend, we nailed it!Leia mais
