Der Weg zur Werkstatt

Deutsch:
Heute musste ich mein Auto in die Werkstatt bringen. Dafür bin ich um 5:15 Uhr aufgestanden. Habe meine Sachen gerichtet und mich auf den Weg gemacht. Da ich den geplatzten Schlauch mit Panzerband geflickt habe, musste ich mit 50 Kmh fahren und alle 5 bis 10 Minuten eine Pause machen, um den Motor abkühlen zu lassen. Ich habe es über die Fähre und mit Mühe und Geduld sogar bis nach Mosman geschafft. Dort angekommen bin ich in die erste Werkstatt, die finden konnte. Sie hatten den Schlauch leider nicht da konnten ihn aber bestellen. Als das geschafft war, bin ich auf die Suche nach Internet gegangen, da ich noch etwas wegen meines Jobs klären musste. Das Problem war, dass ich nirgends Internet finden konnte, dass gut genug war um meine Mails zu lesen. Also bin ich letztendlich in einem Café gegangen, habe mir einen Kaffee bestellt und nach Internet gefragt. Damit hat es dann auch Gott sei Dank funktioniert. Jetzt wollte ich mich noch gerne duschen gehen, da ich im Dschungel natürlich keine Möglichkeit dazu hatte und immer nur Katzenwäsche gemacht habe. Dummerweise gab es dort keine kostenlosen duschen. Aus diesem Grund bin ich für sechs Dollar ins Freibad gegangen, bin ein pasr Bahnen geschwommen, habe mich geduscht und rasiert. Jetzt fühl ich mich wieder in der Zivilisation angekommen. Während ich im Freibad war, habe ich den Anruf bekommen, dass mein Schlauch heute schon angekommen ist. Also bin ich zur Werkstatt gefahren habe bezahlt und den Schlauch selbst montiert da das nicht sehr kompliziert ist und billiger. Morgen werden voraussichtlich auch meine bestellten Reifen kommen. Jetzt wird es aber auch höchste Zeit, dass ich anfangen kann zu arbeiten, da langsam das Geld durch durch die ganzen Reparaturen knapp wird. Damit war alles im Dörfchen erledigt. Ich bin noch einkaufen gegangen und habe bin dann zu einem Platz gefahren, den ich mir vorher schon ausgesucht hatte. Dort gab es eine Steinpackung, die etwas weiter ins Meer verläuft, was perfekt zum Angeln gerade auf Hai ist. Gesagt, getan habe ich mein Auto dort abgestellt, habe einen Minimum Faust großen Fischkopf an den Haken gehängt und habe gewartet. Tatsächlich konnte ich einen wirklich großen Hai fangen. Er wirkt auf dem Bild durch die Perspektive etwas kleiner, aber selbst dort kann man erkennen, dass es ein echt großes Tier war. Gegen später konnte ich noch einen weiteren kleineren Hai fangen. Den Rest der Nacht war allerdings alles ruhig. Da ich bei diesem Stellplatz leider mein Zelt nicht aufbauen konnte, musste ich auf meiner Matratze hinten im Auto schlafen, was ich bis jetzt immer vermieden habe. Ich muss aber sagen, dass das wirklich sehr gut möglich ist und man damit einfach an den besten Angelspots schlafen kann. Das wird mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

Today I had to take my car to the garage. I got up at 5:15 a.m. for that. I straightened my things and set off. I had to drive at 50 km/h and take a break every 5 to 10 minutes to let the engine cool down because I had patched the burst hose with duct tape. I made it over the ferry and with a lot of effort and patience even made it to Mosman. Once there, I went to the first garage I could find. Unfortunately, they didn't have the hose, but they were able to order it. Once that was done, I went in search of the internet, as I still had to clarify something about my job. The problem was that I couldn't find anywhere with internet good enough to read my emails. So I ended up going to a café, ordered a coffee and asked for internet. Thank goodness that worked. Now I wanted to take a shower, as of course I didn't have the opportunity to do so in the jungle and only ever did a cat wash. Unfortunately, there were no free showers there. That's why I went to the outdoor pool for six dollars, swam a few lengths, showered and shaved. Now I feel like I've returned to civilization. While I was in the pool, I got a call to say that my inner tube had arrived today. So I went to the garage, paid for it and fitted the inner tube myself as it's not very complicated and cheaper. The tires I ordered will probably arrive tomorrow. But now it's high time I got to work, as I'm running out of money due to all the repairs. That was all there was to do in the village. I went shopping and then drove to a place that I had chosen beforehand. There was a rocky outcrop that ran a little further into the sea, which was perfect for fishing for sharks. No sooner said than done, I parked my car there, hooked a fish head the size of a minimum fist and waited. I actually managed to catch a really big shark. It looks a bit smaller in the picture due to the perspective, but even there you can see that it was a really big animal. Later on I was able to catch another smaller shark. Everything was quiet for the rest of the night, though. Unfortunately, I couldn't pitch my tent at this site, so I had to sleep on my mattress in the back of the car, which I've always avoided until now. But I have to say that this is really very possible and you can easily sleep at the best fishing spots. It certainly won't be the last time.Read more
