jungle wanderung

Deutsch:
Erst mal wünsche ich euch allen einen schönen zweiten Advent. Als ich heute Morgen aufgewacht bin hat es natürlich leicht geregnet, trotzdem gab es erst mal ein Kaffee und Porridge allerdings heute nicht alleine, sondern mit ein paar Vögeln. Auf dem Parkplatz waren einige australische Riesenhühner, eines der hüner war frech und hat mir meine, Gott sei Dank leere Porridge Verpackung geklaut und versuchte aus meiner Schale zu fressen. Außerdem musste ich feststellen, dass es unter meinem Bett durch die Feuchtigkeit langsam beginnt, zu riechen. Zum Glück soll es die nächsten Tage etwas besseres Wetter werden, sodass ich alles mal etwas trocknen kann. Nach dem Frühstück habe ich mich mal wieder ein bisschen rasiert und im Anschluss daran fertig für eine kleine Wanderung gemacht. Es sollte zu den Barron falls gehen. Der Weg durch den Dschungel dorthin war wirklich wunderschön. Ich habe einige Vögel gesehen, darunter auch einen, der aussah wie eine Taube nur in Bund und etwas größer, aber die Geräusche waren der einer normalen Taube sehr ähnlich. Nach meiner Jungewanderung habe ich mich zurück auf den Weg in die Stadt gemacht. Auf dem Weg dorthin habe ich mir noch eine frische Mango gekauft, bin ins gym gegangen und habe mich geduscht. Dan nach ging es mal wieder zur Arbeit. Nach meiner Schicht bin ich wie gewohnt zu meinem kleinen Parkplatz in Cairns gefahren und obwohl ich sehr müde war, musste ich mein komplettes Bett aus dem Auto nehmen, da es angefangen hat, zu riechen und tatsächlich auch langsam Schimmel ansetzte. Gott sei Dank hatte ich meine Matratze in Plastik eingepackt deswegen hat es nur unter der Matratze schimmelt. Danach bin ich aber auch schlafen gegangen.

Englisch:
First of all, I wish you all a happy second Advent. When I woke up this morning it was of course raining lightly, but I still had a coffee and porridge, although not alone today, but with a few birds. There were some giant Australian hens in the parking lot, one of them was cheeky and stole my, thankfully empty, porridge packaging and tried to eat out of my bowl. I also noticed that it was starting to smell under my bed due to the damp. Fortunately, the weather is supposed to get a bit better over the next few days so that I can dry everything out a bit. After breakfast, I shaved a little again and then got ready for a short hike. We were going to the Barron Falls. The path through the jungle to get there was really beautiful. I saw a few birds, including one that looked like a pigeon only in a bunch and a bit bigger, but the sounds were very similar to a normal pigeon. After my young hike, I made my way back to the city. On the way there I bought a fresh mango, went to the gym and had a shower. Then I went back to work. After my shift, I drove to my little parking lot in Cairns as usual and although I was very tired, I had to take my entire bed out of the car because it had started to smell and was actually starting to get moldy. Thank goodness I had wrapped my mattress in plastic so it was only moldy under the mattress. But after that I went to sleep.Read more
