Erstes Gewitter

Deutsch:
Heute Nacht bin ich mehrmals von lautem Donner und hellen Blitzen aufgewacht. Es hat ziemlich gewittert, Gott sei
Dank hält mein Auto allerdings dicht, es scheint so, als hätte ich mit meinen Upgrades alle Löcher flicken können. Morgens musste ich leider fluchtartig ohne Kaffee mein Schlafplatz verlassen, da die Mückensituation so langsam wirklich überhandgenommen hat. Also bin ich auf direktem Weg ins Gym gefahren habe meine Sport Einheit absolviert und hatte sogar noch genügend Zeit, um unter meinem Sonnensegel vor dem Gym zu kochen und mit David zu telefonieren. Ich bin perfekt fertig geworden, um pünktlich zur Arbeit zu kommen, heute ist nämlich mein letzter Arbeitstag in meinem Lieblingsstore in cairns und damit auch meine letzte 9,30h Schicht. Als ich fertig war, mit arbeiten, habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, Richtung Trinity Beach zu fahren, um meinen Kumpel in seiner Bar zu besuchen (er arbeitet dort als Kellner). Leider hatte er kurz vorher schon Feierabend gemacht also bin ich unverrichteter Dinge auf Schlafplatz suchen gegangen. Leider habe ich nirgends einen passenden Spot gefunden und ich wollte auch nicht das Risiko eingehen, am Trinity Beach zu schlafen, da ich Glaube dort erwischt zu werden. In einem Dorf direkt am Meer sind wir plötzlich einige Kängurus direkt auf der Straße begegnet. Am Dorfrand waren tatsächlich mehrere Gruppen unterwegs. Ich hab eigentlich immer gedacht, das sind nur spaßige Erzählungen aus Australien. Doch tatsächlich laufen hier Kängurus durch die Stadt. Um trotzdem noch einen ruhigen Schlaf zu finden habe ich das letzte Mal auf meinem alten Lieblingsparkplatz bei Alice Beach geschlafen. Dieser ist allerdings durch die Regenzeit zu einer Schlammlandschaft geworden. Ich hab zwar ein festes Stück Erde zum Parken gefunden. Mir ist aber jetzt schon klar, dass ich morgen dort keine Zeit verbringen werde. Alles ist super matschig und überall gibt es große und tiefe Pfützen.

my car is holding tight, it seems I was able to patch up all the holes with my upgrades. In the morning, I unfortunately had to leave my sleeping place without my coffee as the mosquito situation was really getting out of hand. So I went straight to the gym, did my sports session and even had enough time to cook under my awning in front of the gym and talk to David on the phone. I finished perfectly to get to work on time, as today is my last day of work at my favorite store in cairns and my last 9.30h shift. When I was done working, I decided to head to Trinity Beach to visit my buddy at his bar (he works there as a waiter). Unfortunately, he had finished work shortly before, so I went to look for a place to sleep without having achieved anything. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable spot anywhere and I didn't want to take the risk of sleeping on Trinity Beach as I thought I might get caught there. In a village right by the sea, we suddenly came across some kangaroos right on the road? There were actually several groups on the edge of the village. I always thought these were just funny stories from Australia. But there are actually kangaroos running through the city. In order to still get a good night's sleep, I slept in my old favorite parking lot near Alice Beach last time. However, the rainy season has turned it into a muddy landscape. I did find a solid piece of ground to park on. But it's already clear to me that I won't be spending any time there tomorrow.
