Weihnachtsfeier

Deutsch:
Heute hatte ich mit die schlechteste Nacht bis jetzt in Australien. Es war so unglaublich Heiß, Luftfeuchtigkeit war über 95 % und trotz meines Moskitonetzes sind ein zwei Sandflys durchgekommen. Außerdem stand ich nahe einer Straße, was die Nacht natürlich auch nicht angenehmer gestaltet hat. Um etwas Luftzirkulation zu bekommen, habe ich die Seiten meines Autos geöffnet. Das war dann zwar etwas besser, aber trotzdem noch nicht optimal. Ich war so nass, als wäre ich aus einem Pool gekommen. Nach dem Frühstück am nächsten Morgen habe ich meinen Reuße kontrolliert und hatte tatsächlich eine Mudcrab drin. Allerdings war diese weiblich und auch zu klein um sie legal kochen zu dürfen. Im Anschluss daran habe ich abgewaschen und habe wieder einige Ameisen im Auto gehabt daher bin jetzt definitiv sicher, dass sie hier ein Nest haben, müssen. Als ich alle meine Sachen wieder im Auto verstaut hatte, bin ich zur Post gefahren, um meinen Strafzettel zu bezahlen. Als auch das erledigt war, habe ich wie gewohnt in meinem Gymsession absolviert und bin danach in einen Büroladen, da ich einige Sachen noch brauchte. Als auch das erledigt war, habe ich mich noch auf den Weg zum Mechaniker gemacht, um das von mir gekaufte Teil montieren zu lassen, in der Hoffnung, dass mein Problem mit meinem Zigarettenanzünder, damit ein für alle Mal erledigt ist. Um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen, habe ich mich auf dem Weg in die Stadt gemacht, da ich gerne an der Waterfront picknicken wollte. Dabei habe ich zufällig meinen Kumpel Michael getroffen, der gerade auf dem Weg zu der Weihnachtsfeier seiner Arbeit war. Er meinte ich könne gerne später dazustoßen. Nach meinem Picknick was wieder wirklich sehr schön war bin ich noch etwas durch die Stadt gelaufen, habe mich dann gerichtet und wir sind alle zusammen in ein Beachclub gegangen, um ein zwei Drinks zu haben. Danach sind wir mit ein paar Leuten noch in einen anderen Club gegangen und haben relativ lange gefeiert. Der ganze Abend hat mich 12 Dollar gekostet und wir hatten eine super Nacht. Da es heute Nacht etwas kühler ist (24°) und ich einen vorteilhafteren Stellplatz habe, wird meine Nacht etwas erholsamer, aber wahrscheinlich dennoch nicht lang, da es morgens direkt sehr heiß werden wird.

Tonight I had one of the worst nights so far in Australia. It was so incredibly hot, the humidity was over 95% and despite my mosquito net, two sandflies got through. I was also close to a road, which didn't make the night any more pleasant. To get some air circulation, I opened the sides of my car. That was a bit better, but still not ideal. I was as wet as if I had come out of a pool. After breakfast the next morning, I checked my trunk and there was indeed a mudcrab inside. However, it was female and too small to cook legally. Afterwards I washed up and had some ants in the car again, so I am now definitely sure that they must have a nest here. When I had put all my things back in the car, I drove to the post office to pay my parking ticket. Once that was done, I went to my usual gym session and then to an office store as I still needed a few things. Once that was done, I made my way to the mechanic to have the part I had bought fitted, hoping that my problem with my cigarette lighter would be solved once and for all. To round off the evening, I made my way into the city as I wanted to have a picnic on the waterfront. I happened to bump into my buddy Michael, who was on his way to his work Christmas party. He said I was welcome to join him later. After my picnic, which was really nice again, I walked around the city a bit, got ready and we all went to a beach club together to have two drinks. Afterwards we went to another club with a few other people and partied for quite a long time. The whole evening cost me 12 dollars and we had a great night. As it's a bit cooler tonight (24°) and I have a more advantageous pitch, my night will be a bit more restful, but probably not long as it will be very hot in the morning.Read more
