Neue Lichtung und Wombats

Deutsch:
Heute habe ich nicht ganz so gut geschlafen. Deswegen wollte ich mich nach dem Frühstück noch mal in den Halbschatten legen, um noch mal etwas zu dösen. Doch heute hat sich eine Gruppe Papageien in meinen Waldabschnitt verirrt und war den gesamten Vormittag am Schreien. Als ich gemerkt habe, dass es mit der Ruhe nicht ganz so gut aussieht, habe ich mich für einen Spaziergang fertig gemacht und bin mal wieder den Weg entlang gelaufen, als ich an einem schönen Haus vorbeikam. Dort wohnt offensichtlich ein altes Ehepaar, mit dem ich mich eine Weile unterhalten habe. Plötzlich fing die Frau an zu erzählen, dass die Regierung mit Flugzeugen irgendetwas versprüht, um das Wetter zu beeinflussen. Ziemlich witzig, dass ich in den Tiefen des australischen Busch Landes eine Verschwörungstheoretikerin gefunden habe. Außerdem hat sie mir ein zwei Tipps gegeben, wo ich hier Wombats finden kann. Nach diesen Informationen habe ich mein Lager abgebrochen und bin mit meinem Auto auf eine andere deutlich kleinere Lichtung gefahren. Dort habe ich mich natürlich wieder häuslich eingerichtet, Holz gesammelt und habe die Gegend etwas erkundet. Tatsächlich gibt es hier einige aktive Bauten, dass hat meine Hoffnung wider aufflammen lassen. Nachdem ich mit meiner Drohne noch eine Runde geflogen bin, habe ich das Feuer angezündet, Abendessen gekocht und saß noch lange am Feuer. Als es schon recht spät geworden war, habe ich das Feuer ausgehen lassen, bin dennoch eine ganze Weile sitzen geblieben, um mich dann leise auf den Weg durch den Wald zu machen, um Wombats zu suchen. Und tatsächlich konnte ich die Umrisse und die Scheinwerferaugen eines Wombats im Taschenlampen Licht entdecken also habe ich es doch noch geschafft. Nach diesem Erfolg habe ich mich glücklich ins Bett gelegt und bin mit dem Geräusch von Regentropfen auf meinem Zelt eingeschlafen.

I didn't sleep quite so well today. That's why I wanted to lie down in the partial shade after breakfast to doze off again. But today a group of parrots got lost in my part of the forest and spent the whole morning screaming. When I realized that the peace and quiet wasn't looking so good, I got ready for a walk and was walking along the path again when I passed a beautiful house. An old couple obviously lived there and I chatted to them for a while. Suddenly the woman started talking about the government spraying something with airplanes to influence the weather. Pretty funny that I found a conspiracy theorist in the depths of Australian bush country. She also gave me two tips on where to find wombats here. After this information, I broke camp and drove my car to another much smaller clearing. Of course, I made myself at home there again, collected wood and explored the area a bit. There are actually some active buildings here, which rekindled my hopes. After flying another lap with my drone, I lit the fire, cooked dinner and sat by the fire for a long time. When it was getting quite late, I let the fire go out but stayed for a while before quietly making my way through the forest in search of wombats. And sure enough, I could see the outline and the headlamp eyes of a wombat in the flashlight, so I made it after all.
