Opera Bar

Nachdem ich heute Morgen aufgewacht bin, habe ich am angrenzenden Sportfeld wieder Kaffee und Mittagessen gekocht. Dort hatte ich auch die Möglichkeit, mich etwas frisch zu machen. Gegen Mittag habe ich mit meinem Mechaniker ausgemacht, dass ich ihm mein Auto vorbeibringe. Als ich das gemacht hatte, bin ich ein wenig durch das Viertel und habe mich im Einkaufszentrum etwas umherschaut. Ich wurde von zwei Männern angesprochen, die einen Stand für ein Paintball Verein hatten. Ich bin mit dem einen ins Gespräch gekommen und er erzählte mir, dass er vor Jahren von einem Hai gebissen wurde, und zeigte mir auch seine Narbe, über die er sich einen Hai tätowiert hat. Dort habe ich auch ein paar Vorräte gekauft und dachte mir gegen Nachmittag ich könnte doch auch noch ins Gym. Tatsächlich habe ich eins gefunden relativ nah an der Werkstatt, bei dem ich ein Probetraining machen konnte. Also habe ich etwas trainiert und konnte auch duschen und nachdem ich fertig war, rief mich mein Mechaniker an, dass ich mein Auto abholen kann. Ich bin direkt in Richtung meiner Freunde gefahren habe eine Querstraße weiter geparkt, mich gerichtet und bin dann rübergelaufen. Der Plan für heute war es in die Opera Bar zu gehen. Dort angekommen habe ich mir ein Bier (auch das letzte für den Abend) gekauft, da es 16,50 $ gekostet hat. Dennoch muss man sagen ist die Location sehr schön mit Blick auf die Sydney Bridge das Opera-Haus und die Skyline ist schon beeindruckend. Als es schon relativ spät war, sind wir zurück ins Traphous gefahren, haben uns noch etwas unterhalten und ich bin schlafen gegangen.

After I woke up this morning, I made coffee and lunch again at the adjacent sports field. I also had the opportunity to freshen up there. Around midday, I arranged with my mechanic to bring my car to him. Once I'd done that, I walked around the district a bit and had a look around the shopping center. I was approached by two men who had a stand for a paintball club. I struck up a conversation with one of them and he told me that he had been bitten by a shark years ago and showed me his scar, over which he had tattooed a shark. I also bought a few supplies there and thought I might as well go to the gym in the afternoon. I actually found one relatively close to the workshop where I could do a trial session. So I did some training and also had a shower and after I finished, my mechanic called me to say I could pick up my car. I drove straight to my friends' house, parked one street over, got ready and then walked over. The plan for today was to go to the Opera Bar. Once there, I bought myself a beer (also the last one for the evening) as it cost 16.50 dollars. Nevertheless, the location is very nice with a view of the Sydney Bridge, the Opera House and the skyline.
