Neue Freundschaft

Heute Morgen
nach dem Aufstehen bin ich als erstes schön am Meer frühstücken gegangen und habe mir im Anschluss daran einen Roller gemietet, um mobiler auf der Insel zu sein. Damit konnte meine Erkundungstour losgehen. Zuerst bin ich in die Shark Bay gefahren, um dort zu schnorcheln. Das Wasser ist einmalig klar und türkisblau und man sieht Unmengen an tropischen bunten Fischen. Nachdem ich dort schnorcheln war habe ich mich ein wenig ins Landesinnere begeben, um mir die Berge und den Dschungel anzuschauen. Auf einem Aussichtspunkt habe ich eine Kokosnuss getrunken und auf das Meer und den Dschungel runtergeguckt. Von dort aus habe ich auch eine schöne kleine Bucht entdecken können, zu der ich im Anschluss daran mit dem Roller gefahren bin und mir direkt ein Kanu gemietet hab, um angeln zu gehen. Leider konnte ich nichts fangen. Trotzdem war das eine tolle Erfahrung mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Als ich aus dem Wasser steige, werde ich auf einmal von einer Gruppe von Leuten angesprochen, die sich für meine Angel Hobby interessiert haben. Wie sich herausgestellt hat, sind das drei deutsche. Ein Lehrer und seine Freundin mit einem Kumpel. Seit dieser Konversation verbringen wir unsere Zeit gemeinsam auf der Insel. Wir haben uns eine Weile unterhalten danach bin ich in die Stadt gefahren. Da ich der einzige mit Roller war, habe für uns alle Geld geholt und ein paar andere Kleinigkeiten. Als ich zurück war, saßen wir eine Weile zusammen im Halbschatten sind am Riff schnorcheln gegangen (ich bin sogar mit einem Hai geschnorchelt), und sind nach dem Sonnenuntergang schön essen gegangen. Danach haben wir uns gemeinsam an die Bar gehockt ein paar Cocktails getrunken und wollten noch angeln gehen. Dabei bin ich leider auf den Felsen etwas ausgerutscht und habe mir die Hand aufgeschnitten, halb so wild, aber relativ nervig. Da ich natürlich nicht mehr nach Hause fahren konnte, habe ich auf der Veranda ihres Bungalows in der Hängematte geschlafen.

The first thing I did this morning
after getting up was to have a nice breakfast by the sea and then rent a scooter to be more mobile on the island. This meant I could start my exploration tour. First I went to Shark Bay to go snorkeling. The water is uniquely clear and turquoise blue and you can see lots of colorful tropical fish. After snorkeling there, I went a little further inland to see the mountains and the jungle. I had a coconut at a viewpoint and looked down at the sea and the jungle. From there, I also discovered a beautiful little bay, which I then went to by scooter and rented a canoe to go fishing. Unfortunately, I didn't catch anything. Nevertheless, it was a great experience with a wonderful view. As I got out of the water, I was suddenly approached by a group of people who were interested in my fishing hobby. As it turned out, they were three Germans. A teacher and his girlfriend with a buddy. Since this conversation, we have been spending our time together on the island. We talked for a while and then I went into town. As I was the only one with a scooter, I got us all some money and a few other little things. When I got back, we sat together in the semi-shade for a while, went snorkeling on the reef (I even snorkeled with a shark) and went out for a nice meal after sunset. Afterwards we sat together at the bar, drank a few cocktails and wanted to go fishing. Unfortunately, I slipped a bit on the rocks and cut my hand open, not that bad, but quite annoying. As I couldn't go home, of course, I slept in the hammock on the veranda of her bungalow.Weiterlesen
